Job Summary As a Physical Therapy Assistant at HCA Healthcare, you’ll improve the lives of patients by providing individualized care that restores mobility and independence. Supported by well‑defined processes, caseloads that let you focus on patients, and a strong partnership with your team and supervising PTs, you’ll deliver high‑quality care with confidence and impact. Responsibilities Deliver therapeutic exercises and functional training to help patients regain independence and mobility Apply physical therapy techniques and modalities to reduce pain and restore function Monitor patient progress and document responses to ensure safe, effective care Teach patients and families how to use assistive devices and follow home exercise programs Work closely with PTs, nurses, aides, and care team to enhance the patient experience and support a culture of excellence Qualifications License / Certifications / Requirements: Requires current Texas licensure (PTA) and Basic Life Support certification. Education: Requires graduation from an approved Physical Therapy Assistant program. Experience: One year of LPTA experience is preferred.
