Supplier Quality Coordinator

Are you a detail-oriented quality professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a Supplier Quality Coordinator to play a critical role in ensuring supplier quality performance, supporting engineering change activities, and driving continuous improvement across our supply chain.

In this role, you'll partner closely with Supplier Development Managers, Engineering, Procurement, and Quality teams to coordinate PPAP approvals, manage supplier corrective actions, track engineering changes, and maintain key quality metrics. What You'll Do

Coordinate PPAP Activities

• Organize and log incoming PPAP parts into quality tracking systems.
• Review PPAP parts and documentation for completeness and readiness before production release.
• Maintain PPAP parts logs and track approval status through completion.
• Create and distribute weekly reports on PPAP submissions, status, and processing performance.
• Establish and maintain electronic filing systems for supplier submission documentation.

Manage Supplier Quality Documentation

• Review incoming PPAP documentation packets and ensure all required elements are received.
• Coordinate documentation reviews with Supplier Development Managers (SDMs).
• Maintain quality records and catalogs for supplier submissions.
• Support supplier onboarding and quality approval activities through effective documentation management.

Drive Supplier Corrective Action Resolution

• Monitor open Supplier Corrective Action Reports (SCARs) and ensure suppliers receive accurate and complete information.
• Track progress toward timely SCAR closure and escalate risks as needed.
• Support containment actions and incoming inspection activities associated with supplier quality issues.
• Develop reports highlighting SCAR status, ownership, completion timelines, and next steps.

Support Engineering Change Management

• Participate in Engineering Change Order (ECO) review meetings and status discussions.
• Track ECO progress and support on-time implementation activities.
• Coordinate engineering change activities with Supplier Development Managers and cross-functional teams.
• Help ensure supplier-related engineering changes are executed efficiently and effectively.

Deliver Reporting & Operational Support

• Compile supplier quality data and create actionable reports for stakeholders.
• Analyze PPAP and supplier quality metrics to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations to internal teams.
• Support continuous improvement efforts by maintaining accurate performance metrics and reporting tools.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Quality Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant technical experience.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet critical deadlines.
• Experience analyzing data and developing reports that support operational decision-making.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of quality management processes and supplier quality systems.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in automotive, commercial vehicle, or manufacturing environments.
• Understanding of Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) requirements and methodologies.
• Experience with supplier corrective action processes and quality improvement initiatives.
• Working knowledge of Engineering, Procurement, and Quality business processes.
• Experience using structured problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 5 Why, QRQC, or similar frameworks.
• Experience leading or coordinating cross-functional teams.
