Scheduling Coordinator

, you'll be responsible for coordinating provider schedules, maintaining appointment accuracy, and supporting the daily operations of our mobile healthcare team. Daily Responsibilities Schedule and maintain provider appointments based on patient care plans, clinician availability, and productivity goals Coordinate daily patient visits and optimize provider schedules Enter referrals, patient demographics, employee information, and visit schedules into the EMR Maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation Answer incoming phone calls and direct inquiries appropriately Communicate scheduling updates with providers and clinical staff Provide scheduling support for staff absences, vacations, and leaves of absence Monitor schedule changes and adjust appointments as needed Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to ensure efficient patient care delivery Maintain confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA and company policies Qualifications Required Some college Minimum one (1) year of scheduling, medical office, or healthcare administrative experience Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and customer service skills Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer-based scheduling systems Preferred Associate degree Medical office scheduling experience Experience in home health, primary care, or mobile healthcare Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems Ideal Backgrounds We encourage applicants with experience as: Scheduling Coordinator Medical Scheduler Healthcare Scheduler Patient Access Representative Medical Receptionist Front Office Coordinator Medical Office Coordinator Patient Services Representative Administrative Assistant (Healthcare) Care Coordinator Referral Coordinator Home Health Scheduler Why You'll Love Working Here At Mobile Medical, every appointment you schedule helps bring compassionate, high-quality healthcare directly into patients' homes.
