Conveyor Mechanic

IMMEDIATE NEED – EXPERIENCED CONVEYOR MECHANICS / WELDERS

Millwrights Local 1554 is actively recruiting Journeyman and Apprentice Conveyor Mechanics for a long-term UPS project in Memphis, TN .

This is a long term project and offers steady hours, significant overtime opportunities, competitive wages, and an excellent union benefit package.

EXPERIENCED WELDERS ARE HIGHLY NEEDED

We have a strong need for Journeyman Millwrights with proven welding experience . Candidates who are certified welders will receive an additional $1.00 per hour .

PAY & BENEFITS
• Max hourly wage: $34.07/hour
• Fringe benefits: $15.82/hour
• Total package: up to $49.89/hour
• CERTIFIED WELDERS: +$1.00/HOUR

SCHEDULE
• 6 days per week
• 10-hour shifts
• Approximately 60 hours per week
• Long-term work — expected to exceed one year

CONVEYOR INSTALLATION EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Candidates must have demonstrated, hands-on experience installing conveyor systems , including mechanical assembly, layout, alignment, component installation, and related material-handling equipment.

This is not an entry-level conveyor position . We are specifically looking for individuals who can step onto an active installation project and contribute safely and effectively.

Welding experience is a major priority for journeyman candidates. Applicants should be comfortable performing welding work in an industrial construction environment as part of conveyor installation, modification, and mechanical assembly.

Duration: 1+ Year

Schedule: 6-10s / Approximately 60 Hours Per Week
