Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert physical therapy services to patients, helping them regain mobility, reduce pain, and improve their overall quality of life. The ideal candidate will have outpatient experience and excellent client communication skills, ensuring personalized care tailored to each patient's needs. This position offers an engaging environment where you can make a meaningful impact on patients' recovery journeys.
Duties
- Deliver comprehensive physical therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and other modalities to promote healing and functional improvement.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain treatment procedures, progress, and home exercise programs.
- Monitor patient progress regularly and adjust treatment plans accordingly to optimize outcomes.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and ensure continuity of treatment.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment sessions, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Educate patients on injury prevention, wellness strategies, and post-treatment care to support long-term health goals.
- Ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all clients during therapy sessions.
Requirements
- Valid state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist.
- Proven experience in outpatient physical therapy settings.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
- Knowledge of current physical therapy techniques, modalities, and best practices.
- Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Compassionate approach with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for documentation purposes.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
