Activities Assistant (Life Enrichment) – Skilled Nursing Full-Time | $17.00/hour | Weekends & Holidays Required McKnight Place Extended Care – St. Louis, MO (I-170 & Delmar)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30am-5:00pm, plus rotating weekends.

Holiday availability required.

No experience? No problem. We provide paid training and welcome candidates with backgrounds in customer service, childcare, recreation, hospitality, education, or healthcare who have a passion for working with older adults.

What You'll Do:

• Lead and assist with group activities including games, crafts, music, exercise, celebrations, and special events.

• Visit residents one-on-one using activity carts to provide personalized engagement.

• Encourage participation while building meaningful relationships with residents.

• Assist residents throughout the community, including safely pushing wheelchairs as needed.

• Help set up and maintain activity areas and document resident participation.

• Occasionally assist with caring for facility animals as part of the activities program.

What We're Looking For:

• Compassionate, energetic, and dependable with a positive attitude.

• Enjoys interacting with seniors and creating meaningful experiences.

• Comfortable walking, bending, standing, and assisting residents throughout the day.

• Previous senior living, recreation, dementia care, childcare, hospitality, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Reliable transportation.

• Available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.
