Job Description As a Travel Sonographer , you'll perform a variety of ultrasound exams—including abdominal, OB/GYN, vascular, and cardiac (if applicable)—to assist in diagnosing and monitoring patient conditions. You'll work closely with radiologists and medical teams to ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety. Key Responsibilities Perform ultrasound procedures in accordance with physician orders and protocols Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and accuracy Capture and analyze images using ultrasound equipment Explain procedures and communicate effectively with patients Maintain accurate patient records and equipment logs Adhere to infection control, safety, and privacy standards Requirements ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification required Active state license (if applicable) BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of recent ultrasound/sonography experience Proficiency in OB/GYN, abdominal, small parts, or vascular imaging preferred Strong communication and time-management skills Why Travel with ARMStaffing?
