Allied Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Allied Healthcare Professional needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available

Opportunity:

Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

Job Details:

• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with call requirements

• Primary assignment at Edgewood with potential floating to Florence and Fort Thomas as needed

• Perform various interventional radiology procedures including angiograms, venograms, PICC lines, port placements, vertebroplasty, GI bleed interventions, embolizations, biliary tube exchanges, nephrostomy procedures, IVUS, fistulagrams, transjugular biopsies, IVC filter removals, and thrombectomy for neuro cases

• Work with specialized equipment including EKOS, Inari, Penumbra, and Jeti systems

• Scrub for procedures and provide direct patient care for adults and geriatric populations

• Daily census of approximately 8 procedures

• Required certifications: ARRT, BLS

• Epic charting system experience required

• Kentucky license (KBMIRT) can be pending upon submittal

• Minimum 2 years of specialty experience required

• 96 hours of orientation provided

• Dress code requirements: no agency logos on scrubs, no nose rings or gauged earrings, natural fingernails less than 1/4" in length
