About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President for Data Engineering to take on a pivotal leadership role in the standardization and unification of financial and risk data across its global, highly regulated environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of modern data engineering platforms that ensure consistent and governed financial data across multiple business units. This includes leading the architecture and development of scalable data pipelines, driving data standardization across finance, risk, and treasury functions, and improving data lineage, governance, and regulatory reporting alignment. The role demands a hands-on technical lead who can also support the adoption of cloud-based data platforms, particularly those using AWS and distributed processing tools. Applicants for the Vice President, Data Engineering position at the company should have a strong commercial background in data engineering and backend systems, with expertise in distributed data processing using technologies like Spark. Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS, and tools such as Databricks or Glue is essential.
