Managing Partners on an entry-level or emerging manager track support investment strategy execution, capital allocation initiatives, and strategic growth planning for investment firms and platforms. While operating under senior leadership, individuals in this role gain exposure to investment decision-making, portfolio oversight, and partnership development .
These roles often involve collaboration with investment teams, operations, finance, and senior leadership while building the foundation for long-term leadership responsibility.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport evaluation of potential investments, acquisitions, and strategic partnerships
Assist with investment analysis, financial modeling, and valuation work
Contribute to investment due diligence across financial, market, operational, and strategic dimensions
Conduct industry research, competitive analysis, and market mapping
Support portfolio monitoring, performance tracking, and strategic reviews
Assist with transaction structuring and capital deployment processes
Prepare presentations, investment materials, and strategic analyses for senior leadership and investment committees
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
Foundational understanding of financial analysis, valuation, and investment strategy concepts
Experience in investment banking, consulting, asset management, private equity, venture capital, or corporate development (preferred but not required)
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Clear written and verbal communication abilities
Interest in investing, firm-building, and long-term leadership development
