Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $24.31 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed12:00 AM - 08:00 AMThur12:00 AM - 08:00 AMFri12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSat12:00 AM - 08:00 AMSun12:00 AM - 08:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with campus personnel and/or emergency responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols of academic buildings, residence areas, parking areas, grounds, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns. Monitor access points, report maintenance issues or unusual conditions, and document incidents and observations according to site procedures. Assist with maintaining an orderly campus environment by providing directions, supporting campus events, and following Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. CPR and First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
