Grease Monkey® certified pit crews offer drivers an exceptional experience, delivered with speed and precision.We are seeking an experienced Automotive A Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles at an advanced level while delivering accurate, efficient, and professional service. This role is ideal for a highly skilled technician who can work independently on complex repairs, use diagnostic tools with confidence, and consistently produce high-quality work.Key responsibilities include:Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on engines, transmissions, drivability concerns, brakes, suspension, steering, HVAC, electrical systems and flush services.Use scan tools, service information, wiring diagrams, and diagnostic procedures to accurately identify and resolve vehicle concerns.Complete repairs efficiently and correctly while following manufacturer specifications and shop quality standards.Document findings, recommended repairs, and completed work clearly and professionally.Support shop productivity by maintaining a clean, organized work area and assisting less experienced technicians when appropriate.Qualifications:Proven experience as an Automotive A Technician, advanced automotive technician, or equivalent senior-level repair role.Strong diagnostic ability across mechanical, electrical, drivability, engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and steering systems.Proficiency with diagnostic scan tools, digital inspections, service information systems, and repair documentation.ASE certifications or equivalent hands-on experience preferred.Valid driver's license and a strong commitment to safety, quality, and professionalism.Other duties and responsibilities include:General center maintenance and cleaning duties such as mopping, washing center windows, lawn mowing, clearing litter, snow and ice from the site, and cleaning restrooms.Attend crew meetings and run errands as required, as well as other duties assigned by a supervisor.Job qualifications:Customer service skills, basic literacy (reading, writing, math skills), verbal communication skills.Ability and license to operate motor vehicles.Ability to properly use mechanical hand tools.Attention to detail.Previous experience or training - Minimum 3 months actual experience or supervised training as a lube technician required.Working conditions:Materials used: Automotive oils, fluids and lubricants. Environment: Frequent exposure to outside weather elements, noise, and vehicle exhaust fumes throughout the entire shift.Physical activities: Position requires good corrected vision, hearing, frequent standing, walking, climbing, stooping, crouching, handling, reaching, and lifting.
