Express Employment Professionals is currently recruiting experienced Welders/Fitters for a well-established company in Donora, Pennsylvania . This is a full-time, direct-hire opportunity for a skilled welding professional looking for long-term employment and the opportunity to grow with an established company.
Welder/Fitter Job Responsibilities
- Perform MIG and/or structural welding of steel components according to established weld procedures and specifications.
- Fit, position, align, and assemble steel components for welding and fabrication.
- Grind and prepare steel surfaces and preheat materials using a torch as required.
- Move and position materials using overhead cranes and/or forklifts .
- Perform visual inspections of completed welds to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe welding and fabrication area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and welding standards.
- Read and follow welding procedures, drawings, and job specifications as required.
- Monday - Friday
- 7:00 PM - 3:30 AM
- Full-Time
- Direct Hire
- Pay based on experience
- Competitive pay based on welding and fitting experience
- Weld test required during the interview process
- Previous welding and fitting experience required.
- Experience working with steel and fabrication equipment preferred.
- Ability to safely handle and move materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a fabrication team.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
- Crane and/or forklift experience is a plus.
