Box Truck Medical Driver/Logistics Service Representative Little Rock, AR — $15.00/hr. - Part Time Mon-Fri 6am-11am Overview MedSpeed is a healthcare logistics company that transports a wide range of medical supplies, specimens, and materials. This role involves driving a company-owned box truck and supporting logistics services for our healthcare clients. Responsibilities Safely drive and transport lab specimens, medical records, pharmaceuticals, x-rays, hospital supplies, interoffice mail, and related materials in a company-owned vehicle. Operate a hand-held scanning device to track items through the transportation cycle. Follow operating policies, procedures, and service schedules; maintain a professional appearance and demeanor. Conduct pre/post trip vehicle inspections and keep the vehicle clean and orderly. Perform route duties across assigned routes; adapt to route changes as needed. Demonstrate teamwork and collaboration with teammates and clients; contribute to a positive team culture. What You Need to Become a MedSpeeder High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver’s license and clean driving history; able to obtain current class driver’s license as required Company-administered road test completion and required Driver Qualification (DQ) file documentation Excellent driving history; dependable and reliable Strong customer service and interpersonal skills Familiarity with technology and following procedures closely Ability to regularly lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds; ability to handle varying item weights and physical demands Must be comfortable walking and standing for long periods DOT non-CDL CMV Driver Requirements Ability to pass initial and random drug and alcohol screening Must obtain DOT Medical Certification Must be 21 years or older with an active driver’s license for 3 years Must read and speak English sufficiently to converse Can safely operate non-CDL CMV with appropriate experience or training Must be physically qualified by a physician to operate a non-CDL CMV As part of our hiring process, final candidates will be subject to a background check, in compliance with applicable laws. #J-18808-Ljbffr
