Description

American Traveler is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist First Assist for a hospital operating room specializing in cardiac and vascular procedures.

Details

• Work in a hospital operating room within the CVOR unit
• AM shift with 10-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months full-time CVOR experience within the last 3 years in a setting of similar acuity
• Must demonstrate proficiency (rated 3 or 4) in cardiac and vascular procedures with strong endovascular experience
• CVOR First Assist experience required
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide first assist support during complex cardiac and vascular surgical procedures
• Strong background in cannulation techniques and aorta case experience preferred
• Endovascular case experience, including wire-based procedures, is highly valued
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited, with stricter allowances around holiday periods
• Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time within this health system
