Audit & Assurance Senior Accountant

The A & A Senior Accountant leads audit and assurance engagements, prepares and reviews financial statements, and ensures compliance with professional standards while maintaining strong client relationships. The Senior Accountant plays a central role in planning, executing, and completing audit and assurance engagements. They serve as the accountant-in-charge, coordinate work of junior staff, and serve as the primary client contact. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage audit and assurance engagements, including planning, fieldwork, and completion. Serve as accountant‑in‑charge of financial statement engagements Prepare and review engagement work papers, financial statements and related disclosures for compliance with applicable standards. Supervise, train, and mentor junior staff; review their work for accuracy and compliance. Communicate with clients and firm leadership to ensure expectations are met and issues are resolved. Maintain organized work practices to meet deadlines and manage multiple engagements simultaneously. Assist in identifying new business opportunities and strengthening client relationships. Ensure engagements comply with firm standards.
