We are looking for someone that can help us with the day-to-day operations of our craft focused neighborhood store.

In this role, you will be carrying out & managing the day-to-day operations of the store. You will learn a lot and you will not be stuck in just a few routine tasks; it will require you to wear many hats with a focus on excellent customer service, stocking, ordering, and cleaning.

Requirements

· At least 21 years old

· High school diploma or equivalent

· 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role

Must have hands-on experience or real working knowledge in at least one of the following:

* Wine – Retail, restaurant, or proven depth of knowledge

* Disc golf – Playing, collecting, or gear/product familiarity

* Specialty grocery – Especially categories like cheese, pantry, pasta, functional foods, natural goods, local produce etc.

* Prefer experience in grocery, beverage, or retail

· Comfort with POS systems, inventory tools & basic Excel/Google Sheets

· Strong desire to provide thoughtful, high-quality customer service

· Ability to work both independently and with a team

· Hard-working, reliable, and committed to doing things the right way

· Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

· Able to take direction and adapt quickly

· Solid time management and problem-solving abilities

· Can thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

· Willing and able to stand for long periods and move around the store constantly

· Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs

· Weekend availability required

· Familiarity with or willingness to learn visual merchandising

· Desire to be a positive presence in the community and help shape a growing store

You will work in a place with one of the largest cold selections of non- alcoholic/functional drinks, craft beer, wine, discs golf amongst thousands of other curated products. Knowledge and experience in any of one those areas are necessary.

Business hours are between 7AM-8:30PM.

Responsibilities:

· Create loyal customers with friendly service in the spirit of the company’s vision.

· All deliveries are properly received/merchandised/stocked on the same day as they are received.

· Help solve issues.

· The result of your work should essentially lead to better sales, a cleaner store, a strong brand impression, a better organization, stronger team, and that customers are overall happy with your work and vibe.

Strategic Work:

· Develop product knowledge to help customers. Understand how each product/category interacts with its respective target customers.

· Understand that you are not selling for the moment but rather creating a long-term relationship to develop loyal customers.

· Understand what you can guide and control in the customer journey.

· Make recommendations to the team on Planograms, new products, pricing, and overall performance of the store/team.

· Help with planograms.

· Help develop and make progress on our vision.

· To work in collaboration with the entire team and to pass product knowledge and train team members on how the products/planogram interact with the customer journey and how to find opportunities in customer interactions.

· Help solve day to day problems in a systematic and process-oriented way.

Tactical Work:

· Give friendly service & Follow SOP’s

· Help customers with finding the right products, anticipate their needs and make recommendations.

· Present new products to the respective target customers, inform and create positive interactions.

· Operate the cash register and help checkout customers in a friendly and fun way and ensure no one is waiting more than necessary.

· Operate the cash register in an efficient and accurate way with the inventory count, cash count and overall transaction accuracy on point.

· Complete Operating checklists.

· Help the team out, be proactive.

· Receive deliveries accurately, mark and notify any discrepancies and merchandise/stock the deliveries on the same day.

· Enter Inventory/pricing and product information accurately into the system.

· Create price tags, update tags, and ensure all items are tagged accurately.

· Create space for merchandising/stocking the pending/received deliveries.

· Clean, mop, dust and organize the store. Attention to detail is essential.

· Communicate often with the entire team using the right channels for the right situations.

· Walk the floor often to fix or notify about any issues.

· Check expirations/freshness often, rotate inventory consistently.

· Help with creating, modifying, and making space for planograms.

· Help with layout plans and store reorganization as needed.

· Carryout duties as assigned.
