Your Role as a Respiratory Therapist:

• Provide Direct Patient Care: Assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma, pneumonia, COPD, and more.
• Administer Respiratory Therapy: Deliver treatments such as oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, mechanical ventilation, and chest physiotherapy to patients of all ages.
• Monitor and Assess Respiratory Function: Use diagnostic tools and techniques to assess patient progress, adjusting care plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work alongside physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and execute individualized care plans for patients.
• Educate Patients and Families: Provide guidance on respiratory care, managing chronic conditions, and the importance of medication adherence for ongoing care.

What You'll Need to Be Successful:

• Active Respiratory Therapist (RT) license
• National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) certification required
• New grads are encouraged to apply!
• Previous experience in respiratory therapy preferred, but not required
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills to adjust care plans based on patient needs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and healthcare teams
• Ability to manage high-pressure situations in a fast-paced hospital or clinic setting
