Description

American Traveler is seeking an outpatient Physical Therapist with a DPT for a long-term assignment at an outpatient clinic treating adult orthopedic, sports medicine, and neurological patients.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting treating musculoskeletal conditions
• Patient population includes adult orthopedic, sports medicine, and some neurological cases
• Caseload of approximately 48 patients per week
• Evaluation times range from 30-60 minutes
• Schedule is Monday-Friday with two late shifts required
• 5x8 schedule preferred, but open to other structures
• Clinic hours are Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM-7:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Uses NextGen for documentation
• Potential floating to a nearby location, though not mandatory
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• DPT required
• License required if applicable
• 2 years of experience preferred, though new graduates are accepted
• Strong skills in evaluating and treating musculoskeletal, orthopedic, sports medicine, and neurological conditions

Additional Information

• Newly staffed clinic currently supported by one PT who is departing
• Clinician supported by PEC, float, and aide staff
• Utilizes generative AI documentation scribe technology to assist with real-time clinical documentation
• Temp-to-perm opportunity available
• Business casual or athletic wear dress code; yoga pants not permitted

Hours per week: 40
