In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring safe, effective, and high-quality medication management across the organization while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary care teams to support exceptional patient outcomes.What You’ll DoAs a Pharmacist at Salem Hospital, you will:• Oversee the procurement, distribution, and control of medications throughout the hospital• Evaluate and provide comprehensive drug information to providers, staff, and patients• Monitor medication therapies to promote safe and effective drug use• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians and pharmacy students• Contribute to departmental initiatives, workflow improvements, and quality assurance efforts• Maintain compliance with hospital policies, state regulations, and best practices in pharmacy careWhat We’re Looking For• Graduate of an accredited College of Pharmacy required• Current Massachusetts Pharmacist license required• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical pharmacy environment preferred• New graduates considered with at least 2 years of clinical experience as a pharmacy intern• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced clinical setting• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both clinical and non-clinical staff• Proficiency with computer applications and pharmacy systems• High attention to detail and commitment to patient safetyQualifications- To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each duty satisfactorily and be able to proficiently demonstrate computer applications. - Requires attention to detail and concentration. - Good analytical skills are a must. - Ability to manage a large number of tasks simultaneously and to anticipate future needs. - Ability to communicate with a wide variety of professionals and non-professionals. - New grads require 2 years experience in a clinical setting as a pharmacy intern. - Minimum of 2 years experience working in a clinical environment preferred. - Graduate from an accredited college of pharmacy is required. - Current licensure as a Pharmacist by the State of Massachusetts is required.Additional Job Details (if applicable)Additional Job DescriptionRemote TypeOnsiteWork Location81 Highland AvenueScheduled Weekly Hours40Employee TypeRegularWork ShiftNight (United States of America)Pay Range$127000.00 - $159,120.00/AnnualGrade7At Mass General Brigham, we believe in recognizing and rewarding the unique value each team member brings to our organization.
