WHAT YOU’LL DO You'll be a full-cycle recruiter focused on real estate development and construction—sourcing, screening, and placing the operators who actually break ground and deliver projects.
Expect to:
• Source talent across development (acquisitions, development management, asset management, capital markets) and construction (preconstruction, estimating, project management, superintendents, MEP, executives) using cold outreach, warm intros, LinkedIn, referrals, and intuition
• Manage client relationships like a pro: communicate clearly, follow through expeditiously, and stay ahead of the ask
• Write compelling outreach, candidate briefs, and internal summaries that make developers and GCs stop for a minute and respond
• Screen for substance—going beyond the resume to understand deal experience, project portfolio, delivery method exposure (CMAR, design-build, hard-bid), and trajectory
• Work directly with the founders to shape strategy, vertical focus, and business development across multifamily, industrial, mixed-use, hospitality, and ground-up construction
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We don't care about traditional pedigree—we care about performance, curiosity, and consistency.
Ideal traits include:
• 1–3+ years of experience in agency recruiting or internal talent acquisition
• Strong writing and communication skills—you should be able to ghostwrite a killer intro email and hold your own on a call with a development principal or GC executive • High output, low maintenance: you take initiative and deliver
• Sharp instincts: you can read the room (and a resume) fast
• Working fluency in development cycles, construction phases, or AEC terminology is a strong plus— bonus points if you've recruited in real estate development, construction, or AEC
