Job Description Job Description CDL Class A Driver – Drop & Hook Location: Piscataway, NJ We are hiring dependable CDL Class A Drivers for Drop & Hook positions at our Piscataway, NJ location. Truck Info Vehicle Class: Class A Truck Type: Dry Van Transmission: Automatic Slip Seating: Yes (company works to keep drivers in the same truck as much as possible) Fleet Age: 5 years old or less Cameras: Yes – driver-facing and road-facing Responsibilities Delivering beverage products via drop & hook (no loading/unloading required) Stops per day vary based on delivery schedule; drivers typically work 10-hour days Delivery radius: 200 miles from the Piscataway branch (occasional deliveries into NY – drivers must be comfortable with NY locations if needed) Schedule Days: Monday – Friday Start Times: 9:00 AM–11:00 AM (day shift) Average Hours: 50–55 hours per week Overnights: None – drivers are home daily Routes: Similar week to week, subject to occasional changes Compensation Pay Rate: $27.50/hour Overtime: After 40 hours/week (daily OT after 10 hours) Pay Frequency: Weekly Bonuses: Union membership eligibility after permanent hire; safety bonus potential up to $1,000 Requirements Experience: 2–3 years preferred (2-year minimum) Physical Requirements: No lifting requirements; occasional sweeping out of trailer Endorsements: Tanker preferred, not required Minimum Age: 21 Background Requirements Felony: Not accepted Misdemeanor: Not accepted DUI: Not accepted SAP Program: Not accepted Apply today to become part of our team!
