Transportation Manager

Job Title Transportation Manager (Customer Logistics Manager) Location San Antonio, TX Role Overview Mandates management of DOT‐regulated commercial drivers, equipment, and dispatch operations. The role oversees 120–130 drivers, develops daily load plans, leads supervisors, and partners with Operations to support daily logistics activities. Responsibilities Supervise equipment and driver compliance to maintain DOT regulations and safety performance. Plan and schedule daily operations and coordinate dispatch activities. Communicate regularly with shop teams to ensure equipment readiness and compliance. Lead a team of supervisors and commercial drivers; manage workloads and operational needs. Develop and execute operational initiatives and support off‑shift crisis response. Maintain customer service satisfaction and expectation management. Perform health, safety, and regulatory compliance oversight. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain preferred. Minimum 2 years in supply chain, logistics, or warehouse operations. Minimum 1 year of supervisory or leadership experience. Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Advanced knowledge of logistics industry, manufacturing, and production processes. Advanced understanding of local and federal regulations relevant to transportation and logistics.
