Traveling Field Service Technician - Illinois Base pay range $23.00/hr - $24.00/hr This role involves hands-on fieldwork supporting hospitals across Illinois with critical medical waste services. This is not a desk job — you’ll be on your feet, moving, lifting, and making a real impact every day. What will your job involve? Traveling across Illinois (95% travel) from the Western Chicago suburbs to the St. Louis area. Overnight stays required: 1x/month Working directly with hospital staff to ensure safe and timely medical waste container exchanges and proper segregation Inspecting and servicing Danies Health containers in clinical areas — this includes entering procedural spaces and working around sensitive equipment and patients Lifting containers (up to 50 lbs) and pushing/pulling carts (up to 300 lbs) throughout the day Maintaining inventory of containers and ensuring all areas are stocked and organized Using a company-provided smartphone to manage tasks, report issues, and communicate with your team Keeping staging areas clean and orderly before and after service Representing Daniels Health with professionalism, positivity, and a strong work ethic What are we looking for?
