AP/AR Clerk Position in Miami Lakes, FL

Job Essentials for the AP/AR Clerk in Miami Lakes, FL:

A/P · Process invoices in JDE · Reconcile vendor accounts/statements · General knowledge of accounts payable functions · Support the A/P manager in day-to-day operations · Provide back support when needed A/R · Daily processing and recording of all A/R cash receipts · Research and resolve incoming discrepancies/chargebacks and follow up with appropriate internal DPT. · Assist with special projects related to account reconciliation · Prepare monthly billing of Surcharge invoices and send to customers · Assist credit manager with A/R account reconciliation and month-end closing, other ad hoc projects · Follows all policies and procedures of the Occupational Safety and Health, Human Resources, and Quality Department. Reports any safety deficiency to immediate supervisor. · Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements for the AP/AR Clerk in Miami Lakes, FL:

• Be able to prioritize workload and perform in a fast-paced and challenging environment
• 2+ years of accounting experience required
• Data entry, document management, file creation, and previous records experience required
• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
• JD Edwards’s experience is a plus.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, a must, with intermediate knowledge of Excel (Pivot/VLook-up) is required.
• Must be Bi-Lingual written and verbal.
• Excellent communication skills.
