Here, you will make an impact by:Driving quality tools in NPI to accelerate projects while mitigating risk by ensuring consumer needs are met, test methods are robust, specifications are well defined, and manufacturing processes are capableSupporting laboratory, products, processes, and systems such as addressing customer complaints and working with the team on corrective actionsSupporting and interacting with customers and consumers through complaint investigations, resolution, and trending including monthly quality dashboard reportsTroubleshooting, investigating, and analyzing for non-conforming product testing and dispositionDriving existing product quality enhancement through use of continuous improvement methods and tools, such as: product and process understanding (PPU), design of experiments (DOE), six sigma and quality at the sourceEnsuring commercialized product design intent and product integrity is retained as materials, processes, methods, and specifications changeSupporting change as it relates to design changes inspired by quality improvement, source of supply changes, or cost reduction effortsYour Skills and ExpertiseTo set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start)Five (5) years of combined experience quality engineering, product/process engineering or similar, supplier management, quality management systems, six sigma, statistical analysis and/or design control within a private, public, government, or military environmentAdditional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:Master's degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institutionExperience working with ISO9001:2015Experience working with suppliers in a quality improvement capacityExperience with statistical analysisManufacturing experienceASQ certificationWork location: On-siteTravel: May include up to 10% domestic and internationalRelocation Assistance: May be authorizedMust be legally authorized to work in country of employment without sponsorship for employment visa status (e.g., H1B status).Supporting Your Well-being3M offers many programs to help you live your best life – both physically and financially. To ensure competitive pay and benefits, 3M regularly benchmarks with other companies that are comparable in size and scope.The expected compensation range for this position is $145,676 - $178,049, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience.
