This is an owner-facing role with full accountability for schedule, budget, subcontractor performance, and client experience across multiple active custom home projects. The company builds at the high end of the residential market and expects the same level of professionalism and attention to detail in project delivery that it brings to its finished product.Schedule:Full-time, field-based across Metro Detroit job sitesCompensation:$105,000 to $115,000 per year, commensurate with experienceWhat You'll DoYou will manage custom residential construction projects from kickoff through final completion, building and maintaining project schedules, milestone plans, and short-term look-ahead timelines for multiple active projects simultaneously. Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and inspectors, tracking material procurement and long-lead items, sequencing deliveries and installations, and ensuring each job site is running efficiently, safely, and to company quality standards.Budget oversight is a core part of the role. You will monitor job costs, change orders, allowances, and overall financial performance, and maintain accurate documentation including meeting notes, selections logs, approvals, and change-order records throughout the life of each project.You will serve as the primary point of contact for homeowners, architects, interior designers, and trade partners, leading communication with clarity and professionalism at every stage. This includes reviewing drawings, specifications, and field conditions to identify issues before they become delays or cost overruns, solving field problems with urgency, and conducting regular site walks, quality-control reviews, punch-list walkthroughs, and closeout coordination.
