Information Technology Support Specialist

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide proactive, customer-focused technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, telephony systems, and software applications, with expertise in Windows OS, Microsoft Office 365, Google Workspace, and remote conferencing platforms.
  • Install, configure, image, update, and maintain hardware and software on endpoints, including Windows and mobile devices, to ensure security and performance standards are met.
  • Support and manage mobile endpoints using Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions such as Microsoft Intune, including device enrollment, policy enforcement, and troubleshooting iOS and Android devices.
  • Administer user accounts, security groups, licenses, and permissions via cloud management portals including Azure Active Directory (Azure AD), Azure Portal, and Office 365 Admin Center.
  • Develop and execute PowerShell scripts for automating routine tasks such as user account provisioning, system configurations, and administrative functions.
  • Troubleshoot hardware failures, login, password, and software issues efficiently, delivering excellent end-user support in a dynamic environment.
  • Manage audio/video (A/V) equipment and support remote/in-room meeting platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and WebEx to facilitate virtual collaboration.
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including user account setup, access modifications, and deactivation procedures.
  • Use IT ticketing systems like ServiceNow or Jira Service Management to document, prioritize, and resolve support requests within defined service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain detailed documentation of support activities, system configurations, and adhere to IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members and work independently to handle multiple priorities, demonstrating strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Core Qualifications & Requirements

  • Proven experience supporting Windows enterprise environments, including Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and Office 365 productivity tools.
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), especially Microsoft Intune, covering iOS and Android devices.
  • Working knowledge of cloud management and identity platforms such as Azure Active Directory, Azure Portal, and Office 365 Admin Center.
  • Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation, user management, and administrative tasks.
  • Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) platforms like ServiceNow, Jira Service Management, or similar ticketing systems.

• Hands-on experience with Intune, Entra ID, Exchange Online, and Microsoft 365

• Experience with Windows endpoint imaging, deployment, and administration

• Familiarity with PowerShell script deployment and troubleshooting

• Strong communication and customer-service skills

  • • Ability to work onsite in Manhattan four days per week
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds as operationally required.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

  • Experience supporting Google Workspace and other cloud-based productivity tools.
  • Knowledge of audio-visual systems, remote conferencing tools, and integration of video platforms such as WebEx.
  • Certifications including Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate, Microsoft 365 Certified, or CompTIA ITF+.
