Software Engineer, GDC AI Applications and Agents

Design, develop, and test features for user-facing AI applications built on GDC, responding to customer demands and strategic opportunities.Implement components and services for the GDC Agent Platform, focusing on enabling customers to create, deploy, and manage Agentic AI applications efficiently. This may involve working on APIs, SDKs, and integrations.Contribute to improving the AI Developer Experience on GDC by enhancing tools, streamlining workflows, and producing clear documentation and code examples.Collaborate closely with Product Management, UX designers, and other engineering teams within GDC and Google AI to ensure seamless integration and delivery of AI solutions.Minimum qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.Experience building and deploying generative AI agents.Experience with machine learning, AI, and platform development.Preferred qualifications:Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.Experience designing and deploying innovative new features within Kubernetes.Experience building AI/ML systems and large-scale distributed systems.Google Cloud's software engineers develop the next-generation technologies that change how billions of users connect, explore, and interact with information and one another.
