Medical Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator The Lotus Medical | Boca Raton, FL Job Type: 1099 Independent Contractor Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–4:00 PM Compensation: $19–$23 per hour, based on experience About The Lotus Medical The Lotus Medical is a modern, growing medical practice in Boca Raton specializing in personalized healthcare, preventative medicine, and health optimization. Our services include concierge primary care, hormone replacement therapy for men and women, medical weight management, peptide therapy, IV therapy, PRP, and aesthetic treatments. About the Position We are seeking a friendly, motivated, and dependable individual to join our team in a hybrid Medical Assistant / Patient Care Coordinator role. The ideal candidate is organized, personable, proactive, and comfortable multitasking in a growing medical practice. Answer phone calls, text messages, and patient inquiries promptly and professionally. Assist with patient registration, intake forms, and electronic medical records. Maintain an organized and efficient front office. Obtain and document vital signs and patient information. Assist with blood draws, specimen collection, and laboratory processing when appropriately trained and qualified. Prepare supplies and assist with clinical procedures and treatments within applicable training and scope. Maintain medical supplies, inventory, and cleanliness of clinical areas. Practice Operations Help ensure smooth daily operations and efficient patient flow. Assist with inventory management and administrative tasks. Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting preferred. Medical Assistant certification or relevant clinical experience is a plus. Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills. Comfortable using computers, scheduling systems, and electronic medical records. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
