In our 24 bed ICU, you will be working closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based care to complex patients with a multitude of diagnoses including sepsis, shock, multi-organ failure, ARDS, heart failure, MI, cardiac abnormalities, and stroke.You should have the desire to be a patient and family advocate, have excellent communication and problem-solving skills and have the desire to work closely with other disciplines.QualificationsEducation• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE), or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferredExperience• Consistent demonstration of Novice / Advance Beginner clinical nursing practice proficiency requiredLicenses and Certifications• RN - Current and valid Registered Nurse license to work within the state of California required• BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) required CHS HealthStream Courses• ALS-OB - Advanced Life Support OB Program required within 6 months of hire or transfer into position for the following departments: 01-74000 Labor & Delivery, 01-74003 Antepartum, 01-74004 OB Triage.
