Pharmacy Technician I, InpatientHourly Pay Range: $18.50 - $28.68 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Location: Evanston HospitalPer Diem - As neededHours: Rotating shifts. Monday-Friday, weekends and rotating holidaysWhat You Will Do:Assist the Pharmacist with preparing, filling and dispensing medicationsMaintain patient records, set up, package and label medication dosesMaintain inventory of drug suppliesWhat You Will Need:License: Current Illinois Registered Pharmacy Technician requiredEducation: High School Diploma or equivalentCertification: Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) preferred; must become certified by successfully passing the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) examination or another Board-approved pharmacy technician examination, within 2 years of initial licensure.Experience: Prior technician experience or hospital experience preferred.
