CDL A Driver Recruiter & Driver Relations Coordinator

Job Description RoadStar LLC is looking for an experienced CDL-A Driver Recruiter to take ownership of driver recruiting and help grow our local and OTR fleet. This is a full time job Monday through Friday in the office. Our priority is finding someone who can do more than manage incoming applications. We need a recruiter who can proactively develop new recruiting channels, build a consistent pipeline of qualified CDL-A candidates, and generate more driver applicants. This position will also assist with driver onboarding, orientation, retention, and employee relations. Responsibilities Develop and implement new strategies to generate qualified CDL-A driver applicants Identify and build new recruiting channels and candidate pipelines Recruit CDL-A drivers for local and OTR positions Proactively source, call, text, and follow up with prospective drivers Manage applicants from Indeed, Driver Pulse, referrals, and other recruiting sources Track recruiting results and determine which sources and strategies are producing hires Screen candidates and coordinate the hiring and pre-employment process Conduct new-driver orientation and onboarding Check in with new hires and assist with driver retention Handle routine driver coaching, disciplinary conversations, and documentation Assist management with driver offboarding when necessary What We're Looking For Previous CDL-A driver recruiting experience strongly preferred Proven ability to source drivers and build candidate pipelines - not just process incoming applicants Knowledge of CDL driver recruiting platforms, sourcing methods, and industry best practices Strong phone, communication, and follow-up skills Creative and proactive approach to finding qualified drivers Comfortable working directly with drivers and handling difficult conversations Organized and able to manage recruiting activity from initial contact through hire Experience with Driver Pulse or similar recruiting software is a plus We are looking for someone who can take ownership of CDL recruiting for the company, bring new ideas to the table, and help us build a stronger and more consistent driver pipeline. #J-18808-Ljbffr ROADSTAR LLC
