Certifications: ARRT CT, BLS, Oregon State OBMI

Must-Have: Epic experience is a requirement. Hospital experience in an acute care setting is required. Travel experience is required. Candidate must have worked in a Level III trauma hospital minimum.

Description: The CT Tech will perform computed tomography scans on patients. The position will float between units. On-call duty is required with a minimum of one week of standby. Weekends are not required. Block scheduling is not required. The expected patient-to-CT Tech ratio is 1:1. Special procedures may include various CT imaging techniques such as abdomen, chest, and vascular scans. Candidates will perform patient care within the last year. Charting will be conducted using the Epic system. Ability to prepare and administer contrast media is necessary. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of radiation safety practices. The role includes working with interdisciplinary teams for patient care. Candidates will be expected to float to nearby facilities if necessary. Travelers must have a vehicle for this assignment. Inflexibility in the schedule or request for time off may lead to termination of the contract. Candidates must respond to specific questions related to previous employment in healthcare. References from supervisors covering the last year are required.
