About This Job As an Electrical Test Technician, you will play a vital role in testing, troubleshooting, and documenting the performance of our electrical components and systems. Your work directly impacts product quality and customer satisfaction. Job Duties and Responsibilities Conduct electrical testing on various components and systems using a range of test equipment.Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults, performing circuit analysis to determine root causes.Utilize your soldering skills for repairs and modifications as needed.Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to understand system designs.Accurately record test data using a multimeter and data acquisition systems.Work with a variety of AC/DC components and understand their functionality.Perform basic PLC programming tasks as required.Work with and test switchgear components and systems.Maintain detailed and accurate test records and reports.Proactively identify and communicate potential quality issues. Preferred Qualifications: Education Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered. Experience Minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical testing and troubleshooting with switchgears. Knowledge/Skills Comprehensive understanding of electrical testing principles and practices.Proficiency in using various test equipment, including multimeters and data acquisition systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Working knowledge of circuit analysis techniques.Experience with soldering and other basic hand tools.Familiarity with AC/DC components and their applications.Basic understanding of PLC programming.Experience with switchgear testing and maintenance is a plus.Experience with specific test equipment used in our facility. Experience with a variety of industrial control systems.Experience in a manufacturing environment. Physical Requirements/Work Conditions Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to work in a manufacturing environment.
