Our nonprofit senior living community is looking for a compassionate, creative, and organized Activities Assistant to help enrich the lives of our residents, while honoring their dignity, independence, and quality of life.This is more than a job; it's an opportunity to make a difference every single day.What You'll DoAs an Activities Assistant, you'll be at the heart of our resident experience, helping to plan, coordinate, and bring to life engaging daily, weekly, and monthly activities. Your work will help foster connection, wellness, and joy throughout our community.ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Include:Coordinating fun and meaningful in-house events and community outingsAssisting with planning, setup, staffing, and execution of activities and classes, such as Bible studies.Creating flyers, sign-up sheets, newsletters, and monthly calendarsSupporting resident excursions and ensuring safety at all timesCollaborating with transportation and other departments to manage reservations and attendanceCommunicating with residents and families to confirm activity participationMaintaining accurate records, purchase orders, and deadlinesCreating a welcoming, calm, and uplifting environment for residents and staffUpholding confidentiality, resident rights, and our mission-driven valuesPromoting a lifestyle centered on wellness, purpose, and healthy livingWho You AreYou're a people-person with a big heart, strong organizational skills, and a passion for working with seniors.
