Staff Attorney

We're a Missouri litigation firm hiring a staff attorney who wants real files, real courtroom time, and direct partner mentorship — not document review. What we do Personal injury, family law, civil litigation (including representation of sexual abuse survivors), criminal defense, estate planning, and workers' compensation. Our active dockets include felony trials, commercial fraud cases, Missouri Sunshine Law actions against municipalities, contested custody work, and foreclosure defense — filed in courts across the I-44 corridor and statewide. We're small by headcount and serious by output. Motions are written to win, not to bill. What you'll do Carry a real caseload across two or more practice areas Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and briefs Take and defend depositions Argue motions; conduct trials and contested hearings Appear in courts across Missouri — Crawford, Phelps, Dent, Franklin, Pulaski, Jefferson, and beyond Work directly with Jacob Chinnery, José Morales, and Stephen Paulus What we need JD and Missouri Bar license (or eligibility for admission within a reasonable timeframe) 0–5 years of experience — recent graduates with strong fundamentals welcome; lateral candidates with litigation chops welcome Disciplined legal writer who verifies every citation.
