Shift Leader Job Description This position is part of Skyline's team of passionate, energetic individuals. Responsibilities Ensure a safe and secure environment is maintained by following Skyline policy and procedures. Train, monitor and reinforce food safety procedures with Team Members, ensuring all company food safety procedures are followed and complying with all health/sanitation regulations. Lead and demonstrate Skyline Time service, ensuring all employees provide this level of hospitality. Supervise Team Members and prepare food to ensure quality products are served to guests, following up on food preparation and company procedures to minimize food costs. Monitor labor usage against sales and act when necessary. Execute, train and monitor proper cash control procedures. Ensure proper training for Team Members through established training systems and provide ongoing coaching. Perform all functions of a production employee when needed. Perform other job‑related duties as may be assigned or required. Work Requirements & Physical Demands Able to work a variety of schedules in accordance with business needs and customary scheduling requirements. May be required to transfer from one location to another as business needs dictate. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending and stooping. Must be able to lift up to and including 50 lb. cases, spaghetti lugs, bus tubs, trash cans, and any other item up to that weight. Able to effectively and safely use kitchen equipment. Possess basic math and computer skills. Display professional and appropriate image and appearance. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent.
