Details Pediatric Cath Lab unit within a children's hospital setting Low-volume unit performing approximately 140 cases per year Day shift schedule with 4x10 hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM Role includes circulating duties with options to monitor or scrub depending on skill set Uses Epic for charting and GE Mac Lab equipment Claris experience preferred for EP procedures but not required Call requirements starting at 2 shifts per week with gradual increases based on lab needs Candidates will float within scope if needed Requirements Active RN license (VA or Compact) required in hand at time of consideration Minimum 2 years of cath lab experience required, including pediatric cath experience EP experience preferred but not required Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Epic charting experience required GE Mac Lab experience required Previous charge nurse experience required BSN preferred Graduation from an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program (diploma, Associate's, or BSN accepted) 2 professional references required Additional Information Responsibilities include circulating, monitoring, and scrubbing for pediatric cardiac catheterization and electrophysiology procedures Facility maintains a natural nail policy Facility is a smoke and tobacco free workplace All candidates will be assigned non-billable orientation modules to be completed by the Friday of orientation week Local candidates accepted at the same base rate with no radius rules Both travelers and permanent staff must be separated from the facility for one year before being eligible to return as a traveler First-time travelers will be considered for this position American Traveler Job ID P-743228.
