Rocky Mountain Eye Center is seeking a full-time Revenue Cycle Specialist to join our growing Revenue Cycle team in Missoula, Montana.

This position plays an important role in supporting the financial health of our busy multi-specialty medical practice. The Revenue Cycle Specialist is primarily responsible for insurance and payment posting, account reconciliation, payer audit support, and adjustment processing while ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the reimbursement process.

This is an in-office position located in Missoula, MT. Remote work is not available.

• No evenings, weekends, or major holidays

Starting wage: $19.38 per hour, depending on experience (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Post insurance payments and electronic remittance information accurately within the practice management system
• Review and interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) and payer remittance advice
• Research and resolve payment variances, underpayments, denials, and reimbursement discrepancies
• Perform account audits and assist with insurance reconciliation activities
• Process contractual adjustments, refunds, and overpayment corrections in accordance with payer requirements
• Support revenue integrity initiatives and internal billing compliance procedures
• Maintain accurate financial records and account documentation
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate reimbursement processes

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in medical billing, revenue cycle operations, payment posting, bookkeeping, or a related financial role
• Familiarity with insurance remittance processes and healthcare reimbursement terminology
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment
• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry

Training is available for motivated candidates with strong administrative, accounting, or financial backgrounds who are eager to learn.
