Description Duties and Responsibilities (This list is not exhaustive and may be supplemented as necessary) Assists department with assigned projects Completes challenging projects and assignments Adheres to work hours, policies, procedures, and rules governing staff behavior Adheres to policies governing the observation of confidentiality and the handling of confidential information Relates and applies the knowledge acquired in the academic setting to the work being performed Prepares for and utilizes opportunities of learning Consistent and punctual in the submission of all work assignments Provides management with periodic progress updates. Performs other job‑related duties as assigned. Required Minimum Qualifications Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED Actively enrolled throughout the internship at the College Cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher Completion of 30 or more credit hours of college coursework in an aligned degree program 18 years of age or older on first day of employment Knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional or similar application Skilled in Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) Verbal and written communications Ability to Demonstrate critical thinking & interpersonal skills Work with diverse populations and varying education levels Preferred Qualifications Completion of 60 or more credit hours of college coursework in an aligned degree program Work Environment and Physical Demand Lift, carry, push, pull, install, or remove objects weighing 20 to 49 pounds Reach and grasp objects Stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, or crawl Sit for extended periods of time Use of video display terminal Use of manual dexterity and fine motor skills Identify and distinguish colors and shades of color Communicate information orally and in writing Receive and understand information through oral and written communication Proofread and check documents for accuracy Work a fluctuating work schedule This job description is intended to be generic in nature and describe the essential functions of the job.
