Enterhealth is a nationally recognized leader in the addiction field. The Ranch nursing team is responsible for the initial and ongoing clinical care of residential patients. The nursing team is an integral part of the collaborative care environment in which our patients can focus on healing.Essential Functions: Perform initial and ongoing physical and psychosocial assessments according to state regulations and the standards of nursing practiceCreate, implement, and revise client-specific plans of care. Collaborate with clients, families, therapists, providers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team.Ensure accurate and timely administration of prescribed medications. Monitored, recorded, and communicated the client's vital signs and conditions as appropriateProvide treatment education to clients and families Ensure the provision of age and culturally appropriate careParticipate in the orientation and mentoring of new staff membersOversee clinical record management and filingServe as a member of the support team and provide appropriate guidance regarding client monitoring and care within the scope of the license Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required Demonstrate an understanding of and adherence to Enterhealth Policies and ProceduresPerform an admission clinical evaluation, taking into consideration pre-admission information received from the intake team Works closely with the Admissions & Special Projects Director, Clinical Director, and Therapist to ensure appropriate patient placement.Works closely with the medical team, preparing the new patients to be seen by the NP and or MDUtilizes EMR Monitors QA activities correspondingMaintains professional demeanor in dress, attitude, and performance in support of the community milieuActively supports the mission, philosophy, and goals of EnterhealthProtects the organization's reputation by keeping information confidentialEnhances organization's reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishmentsPerforms other duties as required by the supervisor and/or the Director of Nursing. Maintains strict adherence to HIPAA.
