Radiologic Technologist III - Weekender Nights

Overview Hourly Pay Range: $31.46 - $48.76 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors. Position Highlights SIGN-ON BONUS: $5,000 Position: Radiologic Technologist II - Nights Location: Northwest Community Hospital, Arlington Heights, IL Part Time - 20 hours per week Hours: Monday-Friday, 10:30pm - 7:00am, rotating weekends & two holidays per year On Call: 2 shifts per month Required Travel: No What you will do The Radiologic Technologist II will operate radiology equipment and perform radiographic examinations to provide the clinical team with films, images, or other records to be used for diagnosis and/or treatment. The Radiologic Technologist II will explain radiology procedures to patients, position patients for safe examinations, and help establish the patient's trust to the clinical team. What you will need Education : High School Diploma or GED. A minimum of an Associate's Degree or higher, preferred. License : IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure Certifications : ARRT - Radiography (R) - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), required. BLS certification (CPR and AED) from the American Heart Association (AHA), required. Experience : 1 Year prior x-ray experience in a surgical environment, required. Knowledge of all current American College of Radiology (ACR)/JCAHO requirements to maintain compliance with all rules and regulations.
