Are you a confident nurse who knows how to lead a team while keeping resident care at the center of everything you do? Avir at Henderson is looking for a dependable and compassionate LVN or RN Charge Nurse (6p-6a) to join our nursing team.

As a Charge Nurse, you will provide hands-on clinical care, support CNAs, communicate with residents and families, and help ensure each shift runs safely and smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide and oversee high-quality resident care

• Administer medications and treatments as ordered

• Monitor residents for changes in condition

• Lead and support CNAs during the shift

• Communicate with physicians, families, and facility leadership

• Complete accurate and timely documentation

• Assist with admissions, discharges, and care planning

• Ensure facility policies and clinical standards are followed

What We’re Looking For:

• Current Texas LVN or RN license in good standing

• Strong leadership and communication skills

• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred

• A dependable, organized, and team-focused approach

• A commitment to treating residents with dignity and respect
