Maintenance Engineer

Cytiva seeks a Maintenance Engineer to establish and oversee predictive and preventative maintenance systems at a manufacturing facility in Muskegon, Michigan. The role involves diagnosing equipment issues, implementing maintenance plans, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with vendors to maintain operational reliability.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and lead repairs for mechanical, electrical, and software equipment failures
- Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance plans with performance monitoring
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards across the facility
- Manage spare parts inventory and develop procurement strategies
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- 10+ years maintenance experience if no degree
- Proficiency with maintenance software and diagnostic tools
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics
- CMMS or OSHA certifications preferred
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Vibration analysis or tribology experience a plus
