Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A closed-door pharmacy in Topeka, KS is seeking a dedicated Pharmacist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This role offers the chance to work in a focused environment supporting long term care (LTC) facilities with a well-established medication management process. The position requires a motivated individual ready to start immediately and willing to work within a structured schedule.

Responsibilities include:

• Checking and verifying stat medications, Ekits, and blister pack medications to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to maintain efficiency and compliance
• Reviewing and checking IV preparations
• Supporting daily pharmacy operations with a focus on meeting production goals in a fast-paced LTC setting

Desired Experience:

• Prior long term care pharmacy experience is highly preferred, with familiarity in workflow and production pace essential for success
• Candidates from retail pharmacy backgrounds with strong motivation and adaptability are welcome, with training provided to ensure smooth integration into LTC operations
• Must possess a valid Kansas pharmacist license

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
• Saturday rotation
