Position and prepare patients for treatment, using immobilization devices as indicated. Operate radiation therapy equipment and monitor treatment delivery per established protocols and safety standards. Verify patient identity, treatment site, and prescribed dose; document sessions and communicate variations to the treatment team. Collaborate with radiation oncologists, medical physicists, and other team members to implement treatment plans and adjust as needed. Maintain equipment readiness, perform basic QC tasks, and uphold radiation safety practices for patients and staff. Requirements Active licensure/registration for radiologic therapy as required by state regulations (California) or as applicable to the assignment. Current certification in radiologic technology or an equivalent credential acceptable for the role. Strong knowledge of ionizing irradiation administration and adherence to safety and QA procedures. Ability to work effectively in a hospital travel assignment and adhere to the day shift schedule. Effective communication skills with patients and a multidisciplinary clinical team.
