Transaction Advisory Senior Associate - M&A Advisory Remote opportunity. CPA required | Public Accounting Experience Preferred | Interest in M&A We are partnering with a local CPA firm who is looking to add a Senior Associate to their Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team. Ideal candidates are interested in M&A due diligence and enjoy client service and are looking to pivot from public accounting. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive financial due diligence analyses for both buy‑side and sell‑side transactions, including quality of earnings, net working capital, net debt, cash flow, and profitability assessments, while progressively taking ownership of key workstreams. Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and value drivers, and contribute to insights that support transaction structuring and valuation decisions. Prepare clear, well‑supported analyses and contribute to high‑quality, deliverable‑ready reports for internal and external stakeholders. Collaborate with cross‑functional deal teams to understand transaction objectives, assess potential risks and opportunities, and translate complex findings into actionable insights. Participate in discussions related to financial data, transaction updates, and internal reviews throughout the deal lifecycle. Contribute to a high‑performance team environment by proactively seeking feedback, developing technical and professional skills, and supporting team initiatives as appropriate. Required Qualifications CPA or CPA in progress Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP Master's degree in Accounting or MBA (with an accounting undergraduate degree preferred) 2+ years of relevant experience in financial audit, transaction advisory, investment banking, corporate finance, financial consulting, or other M&A‑related roles Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills (both written and verbal) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications Self‑starter with the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment Demonstrated initiative, strong work ethic, and an entrepreneurial mindset Strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills Proficiency with standard business and analytical tools Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels Willingness to travel as needed to support business requirements Benefits and Compensation The salary range is noted in this job posting.
