Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Pulaski, Virginia. The role involves providing high-quality care in a fast-paced ER environment, handling a variety of trauma and patient stabilization procedures. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Location: Pulaski, Virginia
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (Nights and Day shifts available), with rotating weekends and on-call responsibilities. Minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) certification. Experience in triaging, stabilizing, and treating trauma patients, elderly, and pediatric patients preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Certification through the National Certification Corporation (NCC) is a plus.
• Additional Information: The unit typically maintains a patient ratio of 4:1 unless the patient is in the lower-acuity Fast Track area. Equipment used includes Glidescope, bedside ultrasound, EV1000, trauma room, and psych-safe room. Procedures involve triaging, stabilizing, and occasional trauma management. The ideal candidate is driven, outgoing, and capable of thriving in a dynamic environment.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Dress Code: Scrubs in navy blue.
• Unit Guidelines/Policies: Tattoos exposed must not exceed 50% of the visible area; hair must be of natural color.
