Position Overview

We are seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) to work in a state-of-the-art Emergency Department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency care and be dedicated to providing the highest quality of patient service.

Shift Details

Shift Schedule: 3:00 PM - 3:00 AM
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend
On-Call Requirements: Yes
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

Unit Highlights

Number of Beds: 24-bed Emergency Department
Documentation System: Meditech
Floating Policy: As needed

Qualifications

The following qualifications are required for this position:

Minimum of 2 years of specialty experience in Emergency Care
Current NIH certification
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) certification
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Active RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
Experience with HCA and Meditech systems

Dress Code

Scrub Color: Royal Blue Scrubs
Nail Policy: Clean and natural nails; no artificial or gel nails
Hair Policy: Neat and clean; no extreme styles or colors; hair longer than shoulder-length must be pulled back
Facial Hair Policy: Beards, mustaches, and sideburns should be neatly trimmed
Tattoo Policy: Body art should be covered when feasible; exceptions will be handled on an individual basis
Piercing Policy: Visible piercings beyond ears are not permitted

Unit Guidelines

Attendance policies are strictly followed
Floating guidelines will be adhered to as necessary
